A REAL Halloween !

So I feel a little guilty because we didn’t really have a traditional Halloween per say.   For instance we didn’t go trunk/trick or treating.  We  didn’t stay home watching scary movies passing out candy. We didn’t go to any  Halloween parties.   In fact we ditched Cohen with Grandma and Grandpa Warner for most of the day.  While David and I went to the REAL Salt Lake Game.  It was the first round of the playoffs.  So David had to go.  We were playing Columbus Crew, one of the better teams in the MLS this season.  It was perfect weather for a game and there was quite the crowd of goblins and ghouls.  They had a little kid costume parade at the beginning of the game.  It was so adorable.  It totally made me miss Cohen and almost cry, but I sucked it up and enjoyed some much needed time with my Wolverine husband.

Can you see the resemblance between Hugh Jackman and Dave?  Well me either but he still was a sexy beast.  :)   The funny part was at the Real game during the kid parade the announcer mentioned that he could see Wolverine.  David’s arms flew up in the air and he was screaming because he thought he was talking about him.   In reality he was of course talking about the little midget wolverine in the kid parade.  LOL!!

The game itself was crazy exciting.  I wish I understood the game enough to go into detail.  All I know is we won and when we scored that winning goal.  David turned and lifted me off the ground screaming with excitement.  I’ve never seen David so thrilled and excited.  I swear there were almost tears in his eyes.

After the game we went and rescued my parents from Cohen and just came home and chilled.  We of course took some pictures of Cohen in his adorable little elephant costume.   030 006

So instead of Cohen getting a bucket full of treats he got this awesome Real Jersey.

Which he looks totally adorable in.  Next year I don’t think we will be able to get away without the whole trick or treating thing.  So I'm sure we’ll end up with a much more traditional Halloween.

  1. Cohen is so cute in his costume (and his Real shirt). I'm glad you posted some pictures. I actually wondered where you guys were on Halloween.

  2. Dave is a beast, I don't know about the sexy part though.
